Supper Club Announcement

October 1984

Topic

Debate on Strategy; Libertarians should join other political parties (and not start their own).

Speakers

Affirmative: Mark Sager, former chairman of the West Vancouver School Board, owner/manager of Sager's Furniture stores and a libertarian with membership in both the provincial Social Credit and federal Progressive Conservative parties.

Negative: Wayne Marsden, Libertarian Candidate for Fraser Valley West in the 1984 federal election. Wayne is a philosophy major from SFU and a construction superintendent with a Vancouver firm.

Time

Friday, October 26th at 6:00 pm.

Place

Dragon Inn, 4510 Kingsway (Kingsway & Willingdon), Burnaby.

Cost

$2 admission. Meal is separate. There is an a la carte menu but we suggest the smorgasbord at $7.95. This consists of soup, chop suey, chicken chow mein, beef and chicken curry, deep fried rice, deep fried chicken, deep fried prawns, sweet and sour port and almond guy ding.
