The West Coast Libertarian is the newsletter of the Greater Vancouver Libertarian Association (GVLA). Our first issue was sent out in January 1981 and since then we've built up a mailing list of over 300 names of people who have expressed interest or attended our supper club events.

Officially the GVLA is the local constituency organization of the Libertarian Party of Canada but we've always thought of ourselves as more than that. We see the supper club as a chance for all those interested in Libertarian ideas to get together. Please attend October's supper club (details on back). We're looking for suggestions for future supper clubs. Some possible topics include: the state of private education in BC, the role of government in alternate health practices; or the federal census.
